Steering
Directing prospective buyers toward or away from neighbourhoods based on a protected characteristic.
Steering includes factually accurate statements about who lives somewhere. The safe response to a question about whether an area suits a particular kind of family is to decline to characterise it and point the buyer at objective published sources they can evaluate themselves.
