Unlicensed assistant
A support worker who may perform clerical and administrative tasks but may not perform acts that require a real estate license.
An unlicensed assistant may perform directed clerical work with the broker's knowledge, consent, and supervision. DRE permits limited telephone canvassing to identify general interest and refer interested people to a licensee, but not inducement or solicitation concerning a specific property, transaction, or product. The assistant may not perform licensed acts such as showing property, explaining or negotiating transaction terms, or advising parties merely because a licensee is nearby.
