Subagency
An agency relationship in which a cooperating broker acts for the principal through the principal's original agent.
Subagency differs from buyer agency because the cooperating broker's fiduciary loyalty runs to the seller rather than the buyer. Modern transactions more often use buyer representation, but the exam can still test whose agent the cooperating broker actually became.
